“So-So”
Reviewed June 4, 2012 via mobile

Visited here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. We were immediately seated as the restaurant was fairly empty. Our server Danny was lovely. Unfortunately the food was not as good. The ravioli special (stuffed with mushroom in a cognac sauce) we slightly undercooked, as was the linguini with clam sauce. The brasciole was very overcooked and dried out. So very many restaurants to choose from in this area, you could probably do better.

I have never tasted dried up Osso bucco until I came here and was served a dried up shank bone.

“not as good as it used to be”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

I have been eating here for over 20 years. The wait staff is as attentive as ever, but in recent years what is coming out of the kitchen needs some TLC.

“Authentic in a Bad Way”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

If you want central casting from the old country, this place has it all. Portraits, statues, grape arbors. Waiters and many diners also could have come directly from the set of the Sopranos. But, canned clams on the stale fettucini, chewy gnocchi with jar-tasting sauce. Nothing tasted fresh nor homemade. Authentically bad.

“Decent, not too bad...”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

Pretty good italian food, but nothing special. Just your average italian food, not the type of place to be in Little Italy...Decent, but your better off going somewhere else.
