I always wish there was a category between average and very good. This restaurant would fall into that category for me. The restaurant and setting are lovely, with ample parking.

The service was pretty good, though it took a long time for them to bring the water, but the service was good after that. The hostess was extremely welcoming and responsive.

the salsa that came with the chips is a bit different - very tomatoey - almost tasted more like sphageti red sauce salsa. not bed, just different. chips good. guacamole made at table side pretty good.

the shrimp enchiladas were a bit tasteless - they would have been served better by not using frozen shrimp, and/or at least grilling them for some flavor. they were under-seasoned. the other dishes we had - chicken enchiladas, pork ribs, steamed chicken, ribeye dishes. None of the dishes were bad but on the other hand, none of the dishes were memorable.

We had a great time and i would give it another try, as the atmosphere and service were good.

This restaurant has a beautiful view and if you're going for the view and mediocre food this is the restaurant for you. What happened to the fine dining? Mexico has some wonderful food but you won't find it here. The owner would be better off just bringing in the menu from the other restaurant because this menu and food just is not working. Thumbs down on the salsa. Guacamole is very good.

Located in the former "Cappricchio's" restaurant, overlooking the reservoir on a wooded lot set back from Route 22 in Brewster, NY, this place is the newest acquisition from Luis, owner of the highly successful Fiesta Mexicana, located a mere 2 miles north on Route 22 - this place is a little gem.

This place is clearly a step up from the more casual Fiesta Mexicana, but not too stuffy at all! Atmosphere is fantastic! The front door alone is amazing - and you really feel transported by the whimsical Mexican country-style decor. Wait staff can be a bit unreliable, but for the most part, we've had great service. Sometimes it slips a bit when they're really packed, but that's to be expected everywhere. Ask for a window table - there are plenty - so dine while the sun is shining and enjoy the view! Food is creative, flavorful, authentic, savory and well presented. Luis frequents the room and makes his guests feel like VIP's - frequently sending free shots of tequila post dessert or an unexpected plate of delicious appetizers! A nice place for a romantic dinner. Great bar and bartenders who know how to make a wicked good Marguerita! Make reservations if you're dining Thurs - Sun evenings or be sorry.

I have been to Las Mananitas several times in the past month. The menu has a variety of Mexican appetizers and entrees. I recently had a small business luncheon there and everyone really enjoyed the food and service. I've been at the bar a well and the margaritas are great! The view of the reservoir is lovely, the decor and service are great and the staff are very friendly.
