“View you can't beat and very good food.”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. We did not have to wait at all, but that could be due to it being a weekday vs. a weekend that we came. We also had reservations. Service for us was very fast and attentive. We both had specials and thought that the food was very good. Portions were enough and presentation was good as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

“LONG time to get appetizers and entrees....”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

we waited and im not kidding when i say this... but 45 minutes to get our appetizers. we thought maybe since it took so long that they would have our entrees ready right after. boy were we wrong. we waited and waited and waited for over an hour. finally my brother and i go our food... but the rest of my family had to wait another 10 minutes to see any sign of their food. the manager seemed concerned and was nice about it and bought us a bottle of wine... but the only people that were drinking wine at the table were 3 out of the 7 that were there..... EVERYONE had to wait an unreasonable amount of time.... so not everyone was even compensated. i thought it would have been more fair if they got us the bottle of wine and took a small percentage off of the bill.... i ended up leaving and paying an overpriced amount of food (50 bucks) for a lousy time.... i left very unsatisfied. that and when my brother and his friend got their steaks, they were unedible.... i tried the sauce on them and i literally gagged. i had to spit it in my napkin it was so bad. they were both given a small free appetizer. but what about the rest of us that had to wait a crazy amount of time?? i thought this could have been dealt with in a much better and fair way. the server was very nice..... but was very unknowledgable with the menu and bottled beer selection. it took us over 10 minutes for the rest of the table to get asked what we wanted to drink because she kept running back and forth to the bar to see if they had a certain type of beer. her excuse was "this is my first week at this location" you don't tell your guests that! write own the bottled beers in your server book for god sake. we got a bottle of wine and we had to serve our own wine 90% of the time cause she wouldnt pay attention to our drinks etc. and the busser kid filled up everyones water but mine a few times. look at the glasses... its not hard... ive been in food service for over 7 years and still going but i wouldnt do half of the things or say half of the things she said to remain professional... not that were a bunch of snooty people... but her service was okay. she seemed all over the place and i wouldnt ever come back here ever again.

“The View from the Patio Compensates”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

We ate here on a glorious late afternoon, on the patio overlooking Keuka Lake. It is truly stunning and compensates for a very mixed review of the food. The menu is eclectic, with tapas, pizzas and main courses including a number of parmigiana dishes and, very surprisingly, Lake Ontario fish. Waitstaff were excellent, helpful, and attentive. Food ranged from good (veal parmigiana) to poor (beef tapas--tough and way overcooked). But the view, the view, compensates for all the flaws. Eat indoors without the view, and it would get a very average score.
