A great place to visit if you like to see wild life such as deer, wild turkeys, red tailed hawks, and an occasional osprey. There's a fish hatchery here with some nice size trout to look at also..

nice walk / fish hatchery. Kids will love feeding the fish pellets. Probably see a deer or hawk too.

I like to go here to walk around. It is really the long Island ecosystem and waters that I enjoy. Come relax and see for yourself.

I've been to this park many of times. I love to walk on the peaceful trails, with the glimpses of deer. There are many hiking trails to choose from. It's a little bit of heaven in suburbia BUT watch out for ticks. Wear plenty of bug repellent and do a body check afterward.

My wife and I were getting cabin fever in the beginning of Jan . We decided since the weather had been mild for this time of yr to go for a long walk . Off to connetquot we went , after super storm sandy the place was in disarray .. That did not stop us from walking up to the trout hatchery . Deer and wild birds abound .. They were busy trying to clean up all the fallen trees .. If you make the trip it is open again for fishing , hiking .and will cost you 8.00 unless you have an empire pass . Plenty to see and step back to a time when life was simple .. Enjoy !!!!
