Anyone that has lived on Binghamton's Westside has to know "The Beef". The new owners have done a nice job renovating the bar area and made it more warm and inviting. However, they should have gone the extra mile and done something to the dinning area saw well. The drab painted paneling is totally outdated and in need of a major facelift. They have a decent menu with many various selections that could appeal to almost anyone. This is not an elegant restaurant, not do they try to be one. It's a great neighborhood pub with decent food, reasonable prices and a popular hangout. Their "beef on wick" is a sandwich to die for and the French Onion Soup is spectacular.
