Busy place, large parking area, clean building. Asked for a quiet area in an upper floor, and it was - I slept very well in a comfortable bed. No breakfast is offered - there is a restaurant instead, but I typically don't have the time to order and wait.

I chose this hotel, because it was the halfway mark in a long road trip. It is located right off the interstate and sits next to two restaurants [the Cracker Barrel and Applebee's] and a large movie complex.

Let me begin by saying it is a very clean hotel [except for the potato chips on the floor in stairwell]. But there is a smell or should I say smells. I can't describe the lobby smell other then to say it isn't pleasant. That stair well smells like body order. My room, near the door smelled like urine. Now let me qualify this by saying that none of these smells where so over powering that you could deal, but they were there.

So other then the smells...it was a very comfortable hotel. I love the chair in the room. Very large TV. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in on the road. The gentleman working on the desk was polite and helpful. I enjoyed that the workout room is open 24 hours, and the pool was a wonderful place to soak off the stress of the road.

Room Tip: Ask about a room that doesn't front the interstate.

Average perfectly summs up the place. The rooms are large and clean, but nothing special, the airconditioning is quite loud though.
I was dissapointed with the fact that the hotel does not offer any roomservice, in stead I could order at the Applebees next door that did deliver to the room.
The location therefore is not that great, it looks out over the highway and there are a number of restaurants in the area, but all similar to the Applebees. It's definately not an area you want to go out for a stroll in the evening.
The service is good, for example when I found there was a leakage in my room, the moved me to another room without any question.
And finaly the breakfast is ... frozen. I had never seen this before, there is a choice of sausages, omlet, and breadrolls, you can all stick into the microwave to eat. Gordon Ramsey would have a fieldday here.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dated, depressing hotel. We only stayed one night and that was too long. Awful breakfast the next morning, at least we didn't pay extra for it. If in this area, go somewhere, anywhere else.

Fairfield in. Is a refreshing change to the best western in Johnson city ny. Johnson city is very close to Binghamton so we had the opportunity to stay at both these hotels on trip. The breakfast is better, the room is much cleaner, feeling is of a much better quality hotel

This is an adequate hotel, but in need of some updating. The rooms are a bit worn and beds are not up to the typical Marriott standard, but it was a nice clean room, we all slept well and that is what really matters when you are looking for place to stay while passing through Binghamton, NY. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is FREE and pretty good! I love waffles and you can make them fresh, so that alone was worth the stay!

Service was perfect. For example they called 30 minutes after we got into our room to ask if we needed anything. We asked another towel for our baby and got 2 delivered to our door 5 min. later. Rooms were A1. Only negative thing I could say is the indoor pool is a bit cold
