We had heard about this place for a great dinner but after driving by on several occasions, we decided this may not be the place for us. So we were celebrating an anniversary tonite and decided to stop in. We were greeted by the chef outside. Tonite was a quiet night so we were the only ones in the dining room. The other nights we stopped, it was very crowded. But we had been told that go to the back in the dining room, as it may not be as busy as it looks from the front bar area. The menu changes every few days or so as told to us by Chef Jim. We have to go to the bar to get our own drinks. Jim is the only server as well as the chef extraordinaire. If you want burgers, he has a separate bar menu. We had a delicious salad of greens variety, sliced apples, candied nuts, cheddar cheese with a lovely balsamic dressing. Spouse had chicken parmesan (he states the best he has had in a long time!) and I had pork tenderloin on perfectly cooked haricots verts, cooked spinach, topped with butternut squash stuffing and a nice brown gravy. Delish! For dessert we had Italian rice pudding with fresh strawberries. The rice pudding was "Italian" because it was made with mascarpone cheese. It was a delightful dinner, a pleasant surprise but the looks of the outside of the building, please do venture in and have a first class dining experience. CASH ONLY should you go.
