Owner description: The Binghamton Mets, Double-A franchise for the New York Mets, play in this modern stadium.
Reviewed July 23, 2013

NYSEG Stadium is home to the Binghamton Mets, a Double A affiliate of the New York Mets. The stadium is not old in the least, but is aging. This is a no frills, fairly basic stadium but all seating have backs, arm rests and cup holders. The stadium in large enough to hold a decent crowd (6,000) but all have a close and great view of the field. Drink and food choices are limited compared to others but reasonably priced. Ticket prices are all under $11, parking only $3.
Fans seem loyal and the on-field activities while the teams changing sides, are enjoyable but low key. Overall a very reasonably priced, comfortable and enjoyable baseball venue.
(If you want to sit in the shade, chose sets behind home plate and the 3rd base side)

No traffic to fight.(NYC I have a problem with traffic). The price is very, very reasonable. Box seats $9- $12. Other seats maybe $5. I went for the box seats with the team dugout below. Jason Turner was there the day I went (7/17/13). Interesting--real nice guy. Have kids ---go. They keep you entertained with not only with soon to be big income players, giveaways(pizza,t-shirts) dance cam, kids games.etc. Sometimes the promotions are unbelievable. Staff always helpful. I do not know what else but to say---- it is a great place.

I love this stadium, and I'm not even much of a baseball fan. I love it because it's beautiful, clean, fun, and there are no bad seats. I love to sit and watch the spring and summer evenings, the people, and yes, the game too. There are often wonderful fireworks, some of the best ever, after many of the games, and some of the food is really good for ballpark food (think large grilled hamburgers, big enough for two!) Love it!

but don't eat the food. That's not fair. Don't eat the food at the regular concessions. This is a very nice place to catch a ballgame. The parking is easy and inexpensive; and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The BMets might be the best place to see the real prospects being home to David Wright, Daniel Murphy, Matt Harvey and lots of other prospects over the years. The biggest warning about going to a game here is the food. The regular hot dogs are very possibly illegal in 30-40 states and the french fries will stay with you for hours, and hours. Try one of the specialty vendors like Lupos for better food. A great family venue with a play area for when the little ones can't pay attention to the game anymore.

Yearning for live baseball and citfield is too much of a hassle and expense--Lets try the AA Mets-whole family was willing to give it a try--2 hour gorgeous ride from albany on uncrowded highway-no tolls either---3 to park 9 for tickets first row behind the 1stbasemen--awesome seats. Mets bullpen in full view down the left field line, walk right up and watch-players in the same place giving autographs,10 hats for sale,1.50 hotdogs-yes you saw that right, nice little laid back stadium, hardcore fans, music not too loud, very good baseball, bathrooms large and clean, fun zone down left field line ,closes early though, shade down the 1stbase line higher up,highly recomend forbaseball family outing.
