“It's kind of pricy for what it is”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

It's an ok museum. It would be worth the $5 on a concert day (two hours before) but not worth $20 per person that they charged us (3 hours before a concert). There are lots of film clips and memorabilia from Woodstock. I think you can probably rent the documentary and save the $20. You can walk through this museum in about an hour less if it isn't crowded. It really is in the middle of nowhere. It's closed in the winter but it's in the middle of nowhere and probably no one visits.

“Very good museum on Woodstock and the era”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

The museum does an excellent job of presenting the history of the Woodstock music festival and the era in which it took place. I especially liked the fact that it was balanced, presenting both sides of the controversies fairly, and the pros and cons of the festival itself, thus providing a good but entertaining history lesson. There are lots of interactive exhibits and videos. The only real drawback is that some of the exhibits get repetitive. Figure on spending around 3 hours to see the whole thing.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

The museum which relives the 60's in USA and especially the Woodstock music festival is a complete delight , every aspect of this museum is awesome. I visited with two friends and after a week of travelling New England this was a true thrill way to end our trip . It is a must to visit especially for those who lived through this era.
