My kids had a blast, as this is our type of amusement park - manageable area, no lines, decent rides, decent number of rides. The gigantic slide was about 5 storey high, and it we had a so much fun doing that over and over!
There's even bumper cars that the pictures don't show. There's a mini golf course that comes with the day pass. The day we went, the passes were $13 per head. I thought that was very cheap. There's a train course that's a treat too. The bumper cars and the carousel complete the list of the "essentials" for the kids.
There's a huge arcade place, where the other reviewers said they played quarter skee balls, which is a treat. There's food on site and an interesting gift shop cum museum where old rides and attractions were on display.
The charming Chautauqua lake is also there, overlooking from the Carousel!
Now comes the BUT. After having fun in the roller coaster, I noticed that men started work on the tracks (yes, the ride was closed down). It was concerning what happened there. I don't know how it was detected and what it the worst thing that could have happened. Maybe the authorities should have a look at that part of the operations more closely, being a public entity as well.
So other than the danger (that did NOT cause any actual trouble on this day) I spotted, this is a great park for a family day out.
And by the way, there are picnic tables! Parking is free!
