Make a bee line to this awesome cafe...the food is great, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the small cozy setting quiet and romantic.

“Go during the week and you won't be disappointed!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

As noted by other reviewers, this is a tiny restaurant with tables packed closely together - and, yes, the AC does have a problem if the weather is really hot and there's a large crowd. There is also only one WC (not one for each sex, one period!) so the line to use "the facilities" can be long. Reservations are also usually necessary for brunch or weekends. On the up side, the food is wonderful and reasonably priced. We've gone there with children and the only problem we've ever experienced was once when we had a small "spill" and the young waitress seemed helpless when I asked for a cloth to clean it up. Other than that, we have never had a complaint about service and the atmosphere is pleasant.

“Great dinner after a long day”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

We'd been apartment hunting all day for our son (saw 10 apartments) on a very hot day and were exhausted. Some folks were going into the Beacon Falls Cafe as we were debating going in and told us that we should go in, we wouldn't be sorry - and we weren't. It was so restful there, and the pictures of Beacon and the area were great to look at. We enjoyed our meals very much. Service was excellent. I'm sure we'll be back.

“So nice we ate here twice!”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Came for my birthday dinner on Friday night and decided to come back again the next night. Portions are huge (actually too big), and there's a good variety of entrees to choose from. The grilled salmon in lemon and caper sauce was perfectly done - crispy skin with moist, just-flakey fish underneath. And they have $5 beer flights! The service was great and the place has a comfortable vibe. The wing combo appetizer could benefit from more than just a few tired looking baby carrots as the veggie addition - a surprising disappointment in an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

“Wouldn't go back”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

Have been wanting to try this cafe and finally did, but we were both disappointed! First of all, the large air conditioner on the wall above the entrance way door may have been "on" but it must have been on "fan" because it was warm in there!! Nice art work on the walls, which we enjoyed more than the food. The marinated, chicken sandwich did not taste marinated at all. It was dry and plain. The veggie burger was good but I opted to not have the chipotle mayo so I guess it was my fault it was dry. The fries were frozen, not fresh cut, which was what we expected. Food was served in baskets. Our waitress was admittedly frazzled. All tables in this small restaurant were full but there were two other servers besides her, so not sure why the frazzle. Maybe it was the heat!!
