First of all the hostess was rude it was 86 degrees and humid and we were told that the indoor area was not yet fixed I quote " we are not a house" and we had bad damage" yes I understand that but 2 weeks into May we had gone and ate outdoors and were told grand opening for Memorial Day also this was advertised too.... Now we had to eat outside the menu was limited and the smell from the low tide was bad it was hot and nasty. The burgers were not good and this was not serviced with lettuce or tomato's or cole slaw about 6 french fires, the shepards pie was full of salt the bill was over 200.00 and not worth one penny if you go to a dinner you get a deluxe burger with everything. this was a waste of time and money and we will never return

So after leaving the table at Captain Bills because of poor and sloppy service, we were stuck with an appetite and no place to go. We googled and found molly malones. The nice hostess said 1/2 hour, but we were seated in 10.
The server was so attentive the Irish Egg Rolls were awesome. The seafood medley was even better. Top it off with a band playing an eclectic mix of music and a table by the water and we had a great time. A definite place to come back to!!

We happened upon Molly Malones this weekend and were lucky to find them open early for the season. The food and drinks were great; had the Shepard's Pie and the Corned Beef. Band was playing and it was a great nite all around. The management is very cordial and professional and make you feel at home. Will be back again.

We just celebrated our wedding at Molly Malone's, and it was absolutely perfect. Pete was easy to work with and let us decorate the room however we wanted. We had our cocktail hour on the deck, with its beautiful views of the Fire Island ferries, then moved upstairs to the party room with its spacious dance floor, separate bathrooms, and a wall of windows overlooking the water. The waitstaff was so friendly and accommodating! Most of all, though, everyone was impressed with the quality and abundance of food. We chose the buffet dinner, and each of our ten hot chafing dishes and two carving stations were absolutely delicious. I know my husband sent a friend back to the buffet to get him some more corned beef! Because we were given so many choices, there were plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options for our guests.

My husband and I keep talking about how happy we were to have chosen Molly Malone's for our wedding reception. We wanted to avoid the Long Island "wedding factory" scene while still having a great time, and I'm so glad we found this restaurant.

If you're looking for a relaxed place to have a great party, then I would recommend Molly Malone's.

The food is fair; the prices are fair; the service is average. I certainly wouldn't recommend Molly Malone's. Avoid the place on the week-end; it morphs into a bar and it ceases to be a restaurant.
