“Exactly what we expected from a small indoor waterpark!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

My family with four kids 9,12,13 and 14 met up with Grandma and Papa for a mini vacation. For $350, we got connecting rooms with a view of the waterpark. The rooms were large, clean and cozy. The room package included, $50 vouchers for the breakfast buffet and $50 to spend at the nearby casino, plus two days worth of park access. The park was almost empty the first afternoon and the kids had a blast on the slides which had no lines! My husband and I went on both slides, one of which was slower, but still an exciting little 'ride'. The other was surprisingly FAST and very fun! The water in the pools and hot tub was clean and neither were ever crowded. The lifeguards made sure all the kids followed the rules without being overbearing whistle blowers! The breakfast buffet was yummy and the wait staff were friendly. We will definitely be visiting this hotel\park again in the future!

“The name of the lifeguard determines the value of your visit”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We've been here twice now - once for an overnight party where we brought a dozen tweens and once by ourselves as a family - for a total of three separate visits to the waterpark. Our experiences were distinctly different.

The Bad

Our first experience with the waterpark was not good. We arrived about 6pm and prepared to have fun for three hours or so. In that time, my daughter and several guests were yelled at - by other guests - for playing water basketball in the water basketball section of the park. A young man pushed one of our guests off the pool stairs because he was in a hurry. An ethnic friend we brought was called a racial slur. To top it off, a father and son were playing high-speed dodgeball in the hot tub -- so high-speed that the ball was slamming off the fake rocks and hitting the ceiling.

We complained to the lifeguard about the dodgeball (hot tub is supposed to be a 'no horseplay' zone) and after a very weak request, the lifeguard pointedly ignored both the father/son and us as the dodgeball continued. Our issue about it being inappropriate for other guests to make racial slurs or police our kids' behavior was ignored altogether. We ended up having to be on top of the kids to ensure that they got a fair shake at slides, balls, and general fun.

Needless to say, we were disappointed.

In the morning, however, new lifeguards were in place. They whistled infractions, kept an eye on the younger guests, and made for a completely different experience. My same kids who supposedly were problems and/or had problems the night before were now just fine. They even played basketball with some of the kids who'd been an issue the night before.

On a separate visit, we again encountered active, working lifeguards and had a reasonably pleasant experience.

The main problem with the waterpark is that it is very small - bathers are almost on top of each other. If everyone behaves courteously, either by force of will or by direction of the staff, everyone can have a good time. The problem comes when the staff is not paying attention -- these water features then become much too close for comfort. I won't teach my kids to return rude behavior with more rude behavior and with guests packed in like sardines, there is no where to go when things get edgy.

“AWESOME Family Friendly Fun!!!”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

We took my two children and 3 of their friends for a weekend out of the cold. The entire staff was not only totally professional and efficient, they were EXTREMELY friendly and assisted with EVERYTHING we needed!!! We checked in a little early with no problem!!! The rooms were nice and clean. The waterpark was spotless and warm. The food at the Oasis (Sunday brunch) was fabulous!! Plenty to do, the kids AND me & hubby had a blast! We definetly plan on returning!!!

“Great time”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

With 4 kids ages 3-8 this place was wonderful, they were in the waterpark as much as they could be and then were so tired from all the activity when in the room they were pretty tired and relaxed. Oasis restaurant offered great food without having to leave hotel.
