We were camping at Indian Head and decided to go out to dinner one night and it ended up being two. The overall is experience was good with a nice balance of fish and meat dishes. The burgers and onion rings were worth a road trip in of itself and the wife thought the Cod was well done. The dinning area overlooked the river and overhead fans provided a welcoming breeze in the hot summer night. The service was slow (overwhelmed) but very nice. It’s a great stop for a family and super road stop if you are motorcycling along the Delaware. Big portions, homemade desserts, decent beers on draft and the prices are very reasonable.

I went there with a friend after work. The only menu we were given was the special menu with the majority of fish and seafood items which I am allergic to. The meals and appitzizer came with fries which weren't that great. At the end we asked to split the check and the waitress rudely told us it was against their policy. There is no sign saying this nor was it on the menu. The atm was out of order so my friend had to pay it all.
The only good thing was the fireplace running all night.

We have been camping at Cedar Rapids for over 15 years and the experience is no longer the same. You cannot ever enter the bathrooms after Friday night, they are disgusting. The staff are rule happy Nazis looking to curb any fun that does not involve karaoke. Food is mediocre at best.

For those who don't know about it, there is a road - Route 97 - just outside of the city of Port Jervis, that many call The Hawk's Nest - a very windy road that hugs the mountain overlooking the Delaware River. This is the road you take to Cedar Rapids Bar and Restaurant in Barryville. Once there, you will find a large, old, rustic, and warm building - walk through the main entrance and a big old bar and out the back to great decks facing white water rapids on the Delaware.
Sit, order food and drinks and watch the canoeists, kayakers and rafters.

This restaurant had poor parking and ADA accommodations. In addition, the selection of food was quite limited.

The service was cold and non friendly, with a very long waiting time and a very rude hostess.

There are much more accommodating eateries in the vicinity; One should look elsewhere for a better restaurant.
