We have been to Augie's many times in the past, but just visited again since their tragic fire. The new restaurant is larger and configured differently, but retains all of the charm necessary to be Augie's. The food is simply....superb! Everything that comes from this kitchen is delicious and it is obviously made with skill, care and the same type of love used in home cooking. We had the steak special, served with Italian sausage and steak fries, and we also shared the fusilli dish, with shrimp, artichoke hearts etc. There were four in our party and the quantity of food would have easily fed eight. We took home large doggie bags, which may have been the result of the eggplant rollatini appetizer which ranks among the best I've ever tasted. Our server was friendly and efficient and overall, as per usual, this was a wonderful experience!. We will continue to return each time we visit the area. Keep up the good work Augie's!!
