An intimate and cozy atmosphere greets you as you enter this little gem of a place. The night we were there it was packed, but the wait staff were very responsive and friendly. Full bar with a happy hour that can't be beat. Comfort food and live bands at times. Parking is a little bit of a hassle but not much. Enjoy Front Street in beautiful Ballston Spa and then land here to complete the night.

Terrible service - sub par food --- arogant and unappreciative owners --- don't waste your MONEY -- travel the short distance to Saratoga for real service and well prepared food!

We have eaten at 51 Front St in the past and it was very good. We decided to
try it again and were very disappointed. The decor is very nice as is the wait staff so I feel really sad to write a poor review. I understand the restaurant is under new
management so perhaps that is the problem. The food was extremely salty...even the bread! In this day and age many people try to be health conscious and as we
know too much salt is not good. Hopefully they will make some changes. People
can always add more salt if needed but they can't remove it.

Folks had recommended this place and it was well worth the trip. Nice inviting interior, friendly
Owner and staff. Great salads, but the fried chicken stole the show.beer and wine only. Will definitely go back.

While visiting from the UK, the Historic towns of Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa, we visited 51 Front wine bar & bistro. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. On two different occasions, me and my husband tasted the steak which was very succulent and juicy, the coconut shrimp, which was out of this world, the salmon which was very filling and presented in colours of yellow corn and green avocado, as well as the amazing beetroot ravioli which I never thought would have tasted so delicious.

If you are after a different dish for starters, try the meatball trio. Delicious!!!!

Well worth the visit.!!!!
