Really enjoyed having lunch here with a friend. The service was excellent. The menu is quite nice with a lot of options. I had the chicken curry tea sandwich with the lobster bisque, plus of course, a pot of Chai Tea. It was lovely atmosphere, acoustics were good and the food was excellent. My only complaint was that prices are on the high side. I will be back - it was a great place with plenty of antique shops to explore in the village. You can make an afternoon of it.

This is a tea lover's delight! A great place for lunch. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming. The food is outstanding as is tea/coffee. I had a wonderful Strawberry Iced Tea, a Tuna Avacado Salad w/ a cup of their Smoked Red Pepper Soup and for dessert, a slice of Marble Cake. My friend had a hard time deciding what panini to order as there where several selections that all seemed very tasty. He had an Iced coffee, a the Turkey Cranberry & Brie Panini along with the Flourless Chocolate Truffle Cake. Our orders were served on a three tier plate iron plate carrier....A wonderful presentation and our meals were quite delicious! This tea house reminds me of a place you'd find some where in Uptown Manhattan or the Village in NYC, except it's right here in my very own backyard....LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

The Whistling Kettle is a fun place to have lunch or take out of town guests for a unique and delicious experience.
While they are known for their hundreds of loose-leaf teas, they have a wonderful menu.
My husband and I typically get the "trio", which consists of either salad or homemade soup, a grilled pannini/hot sandwich and a decadent dessert. They also have a "tea of the day" which is offered with limitless refills.
Unfortunately this is a very popular place and the seating is a bit limited and tight. On a weekend or special holiday expect to wait at least a half an hour. Since they make everything in house, your wait for your meal may be a bit longer than average.

This is one of my favorite places for a nice lunch. The food is good and the ambiance is wonderful. It is hard to make a choice as all of them are so good. Every one I have taken there loves it then they take other folks. And I only live 20 minutes minutes away!!
