This permanent tent camp is run by a couple who excel at customer service. Greg and Sue put out the welcome mat from the moment you step out of your tour bus. They go out of their way to ensure your comfort and experiences there are top notch. Wonderful accommodation and delicious meals in a pristine setting. You can lie in your bed and hear the hippos grunt, birds call, have a breeze come right thru your tent. We went on the best game drive with local guide. Can't say enough about our lovely stay here except to say that the 2 nights and days were way too short!

After a gruelling 12 hour road trip, we arrived late, but were met by Greg and Sue, the manager/owners who were just so completely welcoming. Our tour was the Intrepid Botswana Highlights. All the road trips were much longer than specified but thankfully, Jumbo Junction was like an oasis. All the people here are lovely, the game drive, the makers and the boats trips are fantastic, so many birds, crocs, zebra and hippos.

Room tip: If you are going to arrive late in the day, make sure you book 3 nights as the first one is waisted.

What an amazing place and service. We came here via a Intrepid tour which was amazing. This place looked after us so well with free laundry service, meals were prepared and activities were all provided and arranged. The accomodation was spectacular with a view into the delta, elephants crossing the water and the sound of hippos in the background.

Thank you to our host couple for taking care of us.

We arrived to a wonderful welcome by the staff of Jumbo Junction, with not only hot towels & welcome drink but with a traditional African song.
The very comfortable ‘ Glamping’ tents come with all facilities needed, and are right on the edge of the delta. We could hear hippos and elephants nearby
Sue & Greg as hosts, made you feel welcome, joined us for drinks & chats in the evenings and were always there to make sure all our activities went as planned.
They made us feel like we were at their home !
All the staff were very friendly, the food was well presented & delicious.
Jumbo Junction was a highlight of my 5 weeks in Africa.

We stayed 2 nights down the road at another venue (which was also awesome), and 1 night at Jumbo Junction. Its a small and private venue (just a handful of tents/rooms), literally right on the edge of the Delta. If you're there when its flooding, then the water will be at your toes. Birds, crocs, hippos and elephants at the front door. Meals were fantastic. Heard hyenas, hippos and lions during the night. If all you did was stay in your room you'd have a great time, but don't go to the Okavango without going into the Delta - its amazing! Spend as much time on the water as you can, you'll never regret it. Mokoro trips, motor boat rides, game drives with picnic lunches besides water holes with no fences between you and the animals - better than anything you'll get in Kruger National Park. The hosts are lovely, very personable and great company. Room facilities were exceptional, very comfortable and private.
