What an awesome bush camp in the Okavango Delta! We had the most wonderful time, stayed in luxurious safari tents, ate delicious food and were treated to the most exciting activities the Okavango Delta has to offer.

During our island safari we had close encounters with lion, elephant, giraffe, hippos, tsessebe and lechwe.

Our sundowner trip to a remote island ended in much excitement when we had to share the island with a breeding herd of elephant!

Can certainly recommend the Jumbo Junction experience to all that want to experience wild life, tranquility and beautiful sunsets.

We recently had the absolute pleasure to visit the revamped Jumbo Junction camp. We were received with the warmest hospitality from our hosts Greg and Sue. Sue’s cooking is top notch and the meals were scrumptious and delicious.

We stayed in 2 of the new tents, beautifully decorated and very comfortable with excellent beds and linen. The bathroom is large with double facilities (basins and showers). Each tent faces the delta basin with a veranda where one can sit and enjoy the view and glass of wine.

They offer a range of activities such as mokoro and boat cruises. A pool is in progress and should be complete in time for summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will most certainly and without a doubt visit again! Thanks Greg and Sue for a memorable stay!

We arrived tired and dusty to a green lush laid back and just beautiful camp. Food was wonderfully homecooked and delicious, The hosts, Greg and Sue and their staff helpful and fun. the bar and restaurant area open towards a beautiful wetland, but safely enclosed by electric wire against elephants that we experienced coming very close indeed. We were offered a full day game drive and boat ride in the delta for a bargain - saw so many animals, had fabulous guides and no other people for the full day. The campfire was just perfect to unwind after a day of game viewing. a tur in a dugout makoro log kayak to see birds and hippos completed the stay. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. A definite one to come back to.

Room tip: we camped in a nice quiet spot, but there are also nice looking bungalows on site for those who want more comfort, some of them brand new..

You will not find more pleasant, helpful and friendly hosts than Greg and Sue. They will cater to your every need. There is no better launching pad to experience the Okavango Delta than Jumbo Junction. Leave behind commercial crowding and rather experience exclusive treatment that makes you feel like you are the only people in the Delta. We experienced game drives, where we saw no other people; just animals. We experienced knowledgeable and charming guides for all of our days. The food was delicious and authentic. This is exclusive luxury at it's best, with a personal touch that will make you feel like family

Room tip: You simply have to experience the Delta after the floods. And you cannot say you have done the Delta without staying in a Mokoro
