What an amazing stay! Travelled with my sister and it was our first time in Botswana and I can't imagine it getting better than this. The landscape and wildlife are breathtaking and the camp staff couldn't have been more attentive and obliging. Especially Kedi our butler, the hospitality shown by Thuli and Rose the heavenly massage therapist. The game drives were truly incredible, I cannot thank our Guide AK and tracker Joseph enough their tracking skills, their ability to read the bush and their sheer determination was extraordinary and made our trip everything we could hope for. We not only saw all the wildlife we hoped we would but we were provided with the thrill of the chase on many occasions. Thanks also to the other guides Palo and KD..... wonderful teamwork! I am already planning when I can return to beautiful Botswana and this unforgettable Delta.

This was our first time in Botswana -- our first safari trip ever, in fact -- so Nxabega felt like the place where we awoke, so to speak, to Africa.

Obviously we saw amazing animals (even a leopard, a lioness and her cubs, a hyena, African wild dogs, a honey badger, hippos, a crocodile, loads of elephants and zebras and giraffes, etc.) and beautiful scenery, and had terrific meals. We very much enjoyed our tent, even if sleeping was a bit difficult on the one windy night.

But really, the story of the place begins and ends with its people. From the moment we arrived we felt special and cared for. By the time our three days were up we actually felt heartsick to leave the staff, especially KD, Fred, and Kitso. I learned a ton from KD and Fred, and Kitso made sure we were never hungry, thirsty, or in the wrong place.

There was also a sense of shared camaraderie with the other guests. Maybe it's because Nxabega is less luxurious than, say, Xaranna (where we also stayed) or maybe it's because the layout of the place forces more interaction (with monkeys too, not just people) but we really got on well with the other guests in camp.

Xaranna was amazing too, but I think the memories of Nxabega will forever be our first thought when we remember being on safari.

This was our second stop on our safari trip in Botswana - we stayed at Savute under canvas prior to this, so this was a step up in terms of luxury from the canvas tent - (the previous tent we refer to as glam-ping! so it was by no means 'roughing it out'). The staff were incredible friendly - the Bostanian hospitality needs to be bottled and exported......seriously. The rooms were again tented rooms, but on stilts this time, with a large en-suite. They have a overnight laundry facility - which was great for us as BA had lost our luggage coming into the country and we only had the clothes on our backs! Ofcourse the monkey had to poo on our freshly laundered clothes the next morning before we set out for a safari run! LOL
The food again - was great - we were constantly eating - I think I counted 6 meals a day! You overlook the Okavango and there are animals wondering into the camp at any given time - we walked past elephants and Kudu on our way to our rooms! It was a great stay - would totally recommend to anyone.
The &Beyond team were so well organised too. We were picked up and dropped off for our various flights and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Even our luggage - they took the initiative and traced our bags for us and when it finally arrived (8 days later) they arranged for it to be delivered to the camp we were at, at the time. Great service!

This place is seriously good! Amazing setting, pure luxury, and the service was above what you'd ever expect. This was our favourite of our tour of the &beyond lodges on the delta (only just, they are all amazing!). Will certainly be coming back here some day, an unforgettable stay!

The location is very colonial and old fashioned luxurious. The staff is friendly and warm as they are in all the and beyond camps. The tent is very exciting because you feel very close to nature but with the luxury of a wonderful bed and a nice warm shower. It's less luxurious then xaranna (the other camp we stayed) but the food was excellent here and again: service and attitude was super! We really loved it and would like to return one day! We loved the singing and the dancing and a candle light dinner at the swimming pool. Feels very much like the Africa you see in the movies and this is what you expect to see when you go to Africa!

Two years ago during our first visit to Botswana my husband and I stayed at Nxabega and loved it. In October of this year we returned to Botswana and Nxabega was on the itenerary again. I am happy to say that it was every bit as wonderful as we remembered it and we really enjoyed seeing some of the staff again. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well decorated and the food served rivals the best restaurants in the US. The game drives which included an incredicredible encounter with two male lions were also amazing!
