Turning off the main road and on to a rough track left us in great expectation of what we would be arriving to. Incredible that there is such a 5 star property, so well maintained and overlooking a spectacular expanse of the national park in what seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Our hosts, Roxanne and Wesley are excellent hosts and a guest is never left wanting for anything. Our driver/guide, Tebby took us on our game drives which we thoroughly enjoyed and also captained Ngoma’s own boat which allowed us a full day’s activity on the river and followed by an afternoon game drive. The inhabitants of the the area made it such a pleasure viewing them, frolicking in the sun and of course, seeing the predatorial lion enjoying the spoils of his hunt was a sight to behold. Such a beautiful part of the world to be in with the varied colours of its landscape. Thank you to the Ngoma team who looked after us so well as it is evident that they love what they do.

This was a very nice lodge well situated in Chobe National Forrest. The game drives had excellent scenery but somewhat more limited game compared to our experience on a private reserve in Kruger and the guide was good but not excellent. I am glad I went but 2 days would have been enough rather than 3. The rooms were nice but not so luxurious. The free laundry service was very handy.

My wife and I stayed here for three days. It was short because we had a few other places to visit during our holiday. We wish we had more time there. I can't properly put into words how incredible our stay was.

This was our first time in the bush and stay in a bush camp. The views, food, room, service etc. it was all incredible.

The morning game drive, afternoon game drive and river cruise day were all amazing. It's overwhelming how much beauty you see in the landscape and abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat. Tebby was our tracker/guide for every drive. He was a great guy and full of knowledge about the wildlife. You will not be disappointed with anything.

In the camp the food was world class, and for both breakfast and dinner you were offered a menu to choose from a selection of delicious entrees. The views you have while eating are spectacular. Onks was our server for every meal. She was very kind and sweet.

The private room accommodation was incredible. One night elephants walked up next to our door and were drinking out of the small plunge pool on the small patio. When we told the management about the amazing encounter, they said it can happen, but isn't common. It was something my wife and I will never forget. If you don't want to go the tent route for a bush camp, then this is the lodge you MUST stay at.

Wildlife and scenery is in abundance, the team of people working to give you the best stay you could hope for does exactly that, the room can't be topped and the drink and food is top notch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ngoma Safari Lodge. The experience was exceptional for our first safari and it will be memories we have for a lifetime. The staff's service was top notch and the highlight was the river cruise and watching all the animals around the water. We look forward to returning.

Wow. Let's start off with the view when you get into the reception area to fill out your paperwork. It's like what you always dreamed of when you think African plains, but in real life. The room was well equipped with essentials, plus they offered complimentary laundry service. One of the highlights of the stay was doing the full day safari, where we did a boat cruise on the Chobe. We stopped on the bank of the Sedudu Island to have lunch. That was when we saw about a hundred (maybe more) elephants stop by the river to take a drink, and swim across the river. It was a magnificent sight. Another highlight was the night drive that we did. Towards the end of the drive, we turned, and about 200 pair of eyes were looking at us. It was a giant herd of cape buffalos. Sam our game driver was very knowledgable, and MJ our server was very attentive! Thanks Ngoma!!!
