We have recently returned from a wonderful trip to South Africa and the high light was, once again, our stay at Bartholomeus Klip. We have been many times and loved it. It amazes us that each visit is better than the last. The warmth of the welcome from Lesley, Vicky and the wonderful staff always makes us feel as if we are coming home. The stunning setting, the calm and gentle pace of life is the best restorative we can think of. The morning and evening drives are always interesting and informative ( but don't expect the Big Five!), with their specialist breeding programmes and rare flora and fauna. Linda and the kitchen staff's wonderful food has gone from strength to strength. It's not just about maintaining standards but constantly striving to improve the whole experience for the guests. A truly unique place
