We had just one night here in the Golden Girls Room. The room was brilliant, it was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The hot springs bath in the room was amazing!!!

Totally worth a visit to relax!

My wife and I have stayed here twice in the Roy Rogers room. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Private hot tub is amazing! Wifi is fast. We arrived after hours, but called ahead and room was ready. The surrounding neighborhood is stark and a little off the beaten path. Good value.

Room Tip: Roy Rogers room.

This was a first time in hot tubing. The staff was very professional in explaining the hot tub and sauna features and the procedures taken to assure a clean environment.

The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable.

Very enjoyable...

We've been here twice: Roy Rogers room 1st time, Twilight Zone this time. I really liked the Twilight Zone room with the waterfall! The bed and pillow were comfy, and the waterfall was outstanding--like a steam room. My husband preferred the tub in the Roy Rogers room on our last visit. Separation of sleep space from bath is nicely done. Air conditioner was sooooo quite---why can't all lodging use what they have--a heat/cool wall unit--I think Coastal Air makes it. This room is farthest from the street and in a corner so very private. Note to owners: we haven't been able to figure out how your t.v. works. Please leave instructions in the room. Also, the rod to open the skylight would be nice to have available. I like to crack a window for fresh air at night. So, the whole experience was very satisfying. If I lived in T or C, I would be over here once a week to use the wet room. Great place!

We loved our three nights in the Twilight Zone room. It was a very good value for the money. This is one of their smaller rooms, and had no hot spring bath in the room, but did come with a hot spring fed shower stall, with a sitting bench. In addition, our 3-night stay entitled us to a complimentary 1-hour private soak in the "big" bath across the courtyard. This is a wonderful private room (reservation needed, and made when you arrive) with a large hot spring pool and waterfall, a hot spring sauna (very toasty!) and a regular shower for rinsing (if needed). Our hour here was extra special, and we were sorely tempted to purchase another hour! No need to go anywhere else for baths! There are an additional two private hot spring bath rooms for guests, with slightly smaller baths (and no sauna) that can be used anytime from 9 am to 9 pm with no reservation or fee (on a first-come first-served basis.) None of the baths that we used had any noticeable sulfur odor, such as the one you may experience in Ojo Caliente, for example.

OK, the Twilight Zone room only had a couple of still photos on the wall from the old TV show to let you know what room you were in, but that's fine. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, comfortable queen bed, flat screen TV, complimentary WI-FI, and a coffee maker with fresh coffee. In addition, there is a private patio out back with table and chairs for two. The front door accesses a nice central courtyard that all rooms open onto, with sitting chairs there as well. The room was very clean, and included some dishes and glasses, and large bottles of shampoo and conditioner (also available for purchase.)

The Blackstone is very conveniently located - just a short walk to the two main drags through T or C, so just a walk to restaurants, shops, etc. But it is on a side street, with no noise or traffic to disturb your sleep.

The staff couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful to us, including sending us advance e-mail notices before arrival that gave us complete driving directions and a list of restaurants and amenities in the area. They also gave us a tour of our room, and the grounds, to make sure that we were well accommodated. We will definitely be returning to Blackstone!

Room Tip: Since we had the smallest of the rooms here, we imagine all rooms will be as good or better than our...

The Blackstone is a great place to go to get away from the real world and just disappear for a while! The wetroom is awesome, and the tubs in the rooms are pretty fantastic too. The best part of the whole place is the people that are there! The staff is wonderful--ALL of them! We haven't met anyone here that we don't consider friends! The Babaloo Suite and the Twilight Zone are our favorite rooms.
