Stayed in the Morning Glory Room and loved it! It was just what we were looking for. Decor was rustic and a little funky in a good way. Thick walls kept out sound and light for peace, quiet and relaxation. The hot soak is awesome. This is a good place to feel like you are getting away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world for a brief time.
You may not like it if you want the most modern and hi-tech accomodations. This place is awesome and earthy. It is rustic and artsy. For people looking for that kind of experience this is the place. For those wanting that kind of experience the phones and Wi-Fi shouldn't matter. The owner is very friendly and the food right next door is very good!

Very inviting and friendly atmosphere. Owners were super friendly and accommodating. Stayed in two different rooms. Both were great. The in room hot mineral bath can't be beat! And the location is a major plus. Right in the heart of the historic district with shops and good food right next door. And live music just a block away. Can't wait to go back!

Stayed the night at Fire Water Lodge in the Waterfall Room. What a great experience. The room was rustic and warm. The thick adobe walls blocked out all sound and kept the room relatively cool. The hot mineral bath in the room was what made it worth it. We certainly got our money's worth in the many soaks we took throughout our stay. For what we paid, it was an fantastic deal. Our only complaint is the WiFi they offer only worked when you stood close to the front door, and the signal was really weak. The management was very friendly, as well. When we left, we got a voucher for breakfast next door at Happy Belly Deli. This was a nice surprise.

Room Tip: The Waterfall Room is the only room with a private soaking tub. It's definitely worth it.

We stayed at Fire Water at the start and end of our travels. We stayed in two different rooms and had no complaints about either of them. The place is quiet, clean and friendly. We'll stay there again.

Our experience at the Fire Water Lodge was great. They not only sent a map with directions and a friendly welcome message prior, they made our stay quite comfortable. The room was extremely clean and the personal geothermal pool on the patio was wonderful. However, through no fault of the owners, the summer temperature during our stay was over 100 degrees so stepping into a pool with water that is 107 degrees was not something we could stand for long. We are looking forward to visiting during cooler months. The people were so friendly and genuine. We can hardly wait to return.

This place is a retreat of sorts, charming and unusual and funky. Went down to celebrate my retirement, treated myself to a massage. I plan to return. Quirky oasis, and the water is wonderful.
