“Great museum with amazing history...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2014

The amount of history to be found here is impressive for a small museum. There are several rooms filled with artifacts from native Americans to the present day. The Geronimo room is very impressive with detailed history of his family. A room is dedicated to Ralph Edwards who is credited with the naming of the city, "Truth or Consequences". There is an original log cabin which was moved to the location and from within the museum you can view the interior with many original artifacts of the time. One of the rooms has the history of ranching which I found very impressive. There is more to see and really recommend visiting when in the area.

“Lots of stuff to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

This museum sure has a lot to see. Most of the displays have a lot of writing to go along with them. A lot of the writing was physically hard to read. I felt like there was a lot of stuff all dumped into this place, making it kind of overwhelming. I tend to like low-tech museums, but after about two rooms, I was done with this one. Maybe better organization would help.

“Truth or Consequences”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

This museum is extensive on the history of the area starting with the native Americans, settlers on to modern day all chronicled with artifacts including a original settlers cabin relocated to the site from the wilderness. You'll see items from Geronimo, settlers and Ralph Edwards who influenced the name Truth or Consequences.

“Cool museum with lots to see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

Wow... what a cool museum with tons to see! Such a vast amount of history and artifacts, you'll easily spend two hours in here. A definite stop if you're in TorC... Learn about where and how the town got it's name!

“Terrific Collection, Don't Miss It”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014

From the moment you approach the museum you know this is going to be a special experience by the exterior collection and ceramic art. It is especially amazing that the museum is volunteer run. The displays are factual and presented without romanticism. The pottery collection alone is worth a trip from Las Crucis or Albuquerque, or Santa Fe, or anywhere!
