“Excellent Every Time!”

Excellent service, consistently delicious food and a warm 'throw back' atmosphere! Manager's kabob, steak, salmon or a prime rib sandwich in the bar-all will impress! Highlight in small town USA!

“Excellent service, good meal.”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

Just enjoyed a dinner here on Tuesday night. Service very prompt, efficient, pleasant. Not often you see pike on a southwest menu but mine was quite good, cajun style. Cocktails pretty good, wine a very good value and many nicely priced choices offered. Only suggestion was to loose the kinda' mushy cafeteria style mixed vegetables and do something tastier and fancier like grilled asparagus. Nice experience for a small town.

“A dreadful New Year's Eve Experience”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

We had one of the worse dining experiences of our lifetime on New Year's Eve. It began with ordering one glass of wine and appetizers. They did not come soon. We ordered our salad and soups and main courses. The salad and soups arrived before the appetizers and wine, so we sent them back. The appetizers finally came and were just OK. Finally, the wine arrived. Then we waited and waited and waited for our main courses. Our waiter came and told us that our orders would arrive soon. Fifteen minutes later he said the same thing. Then he came and said that there was a problem with the fish(?!) and our order was soon to arrive. In about 20 minutes, it did come, but the order was wrong on 2 counts. By this time, the owner came and appoligized and did comp us our entire meal, but the fish was bad, the rib eye steak was dry and grainy and the meals were sub-par. Our meal took over two hours to complete. We sat and watched as new customers came, were served, and left, while we waited for our meal. This was a horrible way to start the new year and we will never return to Los Arcos.

“Unexpected Pleasure”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

You don't expect a place of this quality in a small town, but a diversified menu, good wine list and great tasting food at a good price. Staff was very good, attentive and right on top of things. Early bird specials were right off the menu.
