“Arizona should do better”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

We had a pleasant, unexciting lunch at Arizona Cafe. The green chile on the hamburger was very good, the hamburger itself only so-so. The Buckhorn in San Antonio (NM) is immeasurably better. (The cranberry cole slaw was excellent.)

“Good food, the MOST friendly staff ever!”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

This is a must to visit! The food is wonderful. The staff is kind and entertaining. Our car broke down and we had to stay an extra day. The wait staff turned our stay into fun, good food and laughs. A MUST to visit!

“Great Veggie Breakfast Omelet”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

We went in for breakfast and were pleased with our selections. Service is attentive and friendly. Toast selections include a Great marbled rye which was thoroughly enjoyed. My friend went for scrambled eggs and the homemade fries which are good (I had 'em too). I ordered the Vegetarian Omelet (7.95) and was really happy with it. It was chock full! They do not skimp on servings, the food was hot and tasty. Will be happy to visit them next trip.

“Nice and homey cafe”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

The Arizona Cafe provided a nice dinner meal for my wife and I on our recent visit. The cafe has only been open about 6 months, and won't get its liquor license until May 1, 2013, but it served our needs well this night. It is small, with about 15 tables, and only has some art and historical photos on the walls (the building was once a hotel) for decor, but our waitress was very nice and helpful. Admittedly, we were one of only three parties there that night.

The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner ('til 8 pm) and does not have a very large menu, but seems to have a little something for most tastes (how about an Elvis Sandwich of fried bananas, peanut butter, and bacon?) We had the chicken parmesan (one sandwich and one dinner plate), and were both very pleased with the quality of the chicken and the taste of the marinara sauce. The dinner was served on a bed of fettucine noodles, and came with a house salad (nice and fresh.) The sandwich had an option fora side of sweet potato fries ($1.00 extra).

The prices were very reasonable, with no dinner plate more than $12.95 and no sandwich more than $7.95.

If you're looking for a nice place with decent food, without breaking the budget, we would recommend giving the Arizona Cafe a try.
