We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Lodge was beautiful with a wonderful soak. Our room was with a veranda and we enjoyed soaking up the sun and then a nice quite, peaceful bath. Town was a little to quite for us, there is not a lot to do in the town.
Lodge doesn't have food available but we had a great breakfast at BBQ on Broadway, looks like where the locals go, highly recommend walking there for meals.

This is a wonderful lodge with great soaks and the staff is so courteous and helpful. It is a very quiet and relaxing spot to spend some time. This is our second time but definitely not our last. We have enjoyed both experiences. It may be a little more expensive than some but you get what you pay for every time. Highly recommend this lodge for a relaxing and peaceful time.

Room Tip: We like the downstairs rooms because they have the in-room mineral bath and there is no elevator. We...

Have been travelling up and down I-25 for over 30 years and never gave T or C a second look, other than stopping for gas. Discovered Sierra Grande Lodge about 4 years ago and now I make this my stop whenever possible. Great property with a wonderful "aura" about it. Feel very comfortable as a woman travelling alone. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and very attractively decorated in the style of New Mexico. It is very tranquil and guests are very respectful of the ambiance. In my case it is a very relaxing night's stay as I make my way from Arizona to Colorado several times a year.
I would like to address Dave G.'s comments and suggest that he look a little harder for things that T or C has to offer. There are several very good restaurants (Cafe Bella Luca, for one) and there are some very interesting hiking options in the area..... And as a consignment shopping enthusiast, I will have to find the thrift store he mentioned!
The resort/spa is very affordable and I can't say there is a better value. And to have a mineral soak included in the price of the room is a real plus. There is nothing "hoity toity" about the property, which keeps me coming back time after time.

We had stayed in several places in Truth or Consequences, always looking for the perfect place. At last we found it!! The classic building with its history, the friendly staff and spa experience were wonderful. We loved the attention to detail-the robes, ice water, and night sky for our outdoor soak, the fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious coffee with the breakfast, and the overall beauty of the interior were perfect for us. We will return!

Room Tip: We loved our quiet room upstairs toward the back of the building.

We took a weekend get away from El Paso and booked a spa package for a pretty good price. By buying the package we saved money. The package included two nights Friday and Saturday in a queen upstairs balcony sweet. The room is of good size and it has a huge bathtub. The package also included two aromatherapy massage with wraps and two massages. The breakfast is not the best. I guess I was expecting so much since everything else is really good. The package also includes unlimited mineral water soaks. We soaked both inside and out and every room was diferent. You definately need to soak outside at night time. It is wonderful. I definately recommend this place. If u do stay u need to go try hot stuff it has really good new mexico style type of Mexican food. It is really good. I also recommend eating at bella bucca they serve really good Italian food. We ate the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and chicken calabasita plate that was delicious. Overall our weekend trip was great thanks to our stay at Sierra Grande. Can't wait to come back.

We have been in spas and inns all over the world and this spa is one of the best. The really bad thing is the old warn out town of T or C that has NO good anything except this spa. When a Denny's and a thrift store is the best there is in any town you must be really content with the spa, which we were

Having lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico my whole life, I had never heard of the hot springs soak tubs in T or C. Recently went on a girls getaway and had one of the best days of my life! Sierra Grande was fabulous! Lovely service, awesome soak tubs, lovely breakfast and beautiful room! With delicious restaurant choices within walking distance, this place really was worth every penny! Highly recommend staying here!!
