“Relaxing Soak”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

I've been to this place a few times and it has become one of my favorite hot springs in New Mexico. I especially love the private pools. The cost of renting one for an hour isn't bad and with it you get the peace and quiet of your own pool. Here you can draw the privacy shades and strip down if you want, or if you are feeling more conservative, keep your swim suit on and open up the shades to watch the river flow by. The staff are friendly and helpful too. I would love to come back at night sometime.

“Best place to stay ever.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

I love Riverbend. Whether you are on a day trip or staying overnight, there is no more relaxing place to go. Beautiful, natural hot springs overlooking the Rio Grande. Gorgeous landscape. Truly affordable, comfortable rooms in which to sleep in you're staying the night, and then you can wake up in the morning and soak again!

“Nice location for soaking”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

I'd have given it a 4 6yrs ago when a soak cost half as much and it was a socializing place for locals. Its gone from quirky charming to an imitation bohemian tourist trap* but its still the only outdoor public springs that I know of in town. The river views can be quite pretty in the afternoon and you can see the stars at night.

* probably a lot more profitable
