We loved our total experience at River Bend Hot Springs. All the staff were quite helpful and attentive. Our room, which was the casita, was really great. It was like a small house with full kitchen great bathroom and two seperate sleeping areas. The public hot spring areas were beautiful. We stayed mid week and had the place mostly to ourselves it was great just lounging around the tubs and relaxing. Very peaceful with the river running adjacent to the property and the small water fall on the property makes it all seem so calming.
We really didnt have any bad experiences with this trip which was also wonderful.
The internet info was very helpful when making our decision on where to stay the place really is as beautiful as the video on their web site go check it out and enjoy!!!

The place is rustic, to be sure. Not 5 star by any means. But if you can enjoy rooming in a remodeled mobile home, the hot springs make it completely worth it and the prices are amazing. The staff also worked with us extremely patiently after I booked for the wrong night. They even threw in an hour in one of the private pools free for my wife's birthday. A wonderful experience.

Lured by other positive reviews, we abandoned our previous choice in Truth or Consequences and tried the Riverbend. Pros: it is right on the river, with multiple pools, some private (extra fee), some for general use of guests, all overlooking the water. There are numerous comfortable chairs, under shade, for reading while not soaking. The accommodations are comfortable and quite spacious, especially for the price. Wi-Fi is provided - caveat - the WiFi did not reach the casita where we had our second stay. Cons: the Riverbend has been discovered! We were there on a Monday night, and in the early evening it was a full house, with several exceptionally chatty folks with booming voices. You cannot escape the chat unless you have rented a private pool. BUT - several hours later, after dinner, we were the only ones in the pools, under the stars. Magic. Balance - this is the best place in T or C to experience the mineral baths, and the price is right!

(Pets are allowed under very limited conditions; smoking is prohibited in the rooms, thank heavens!)

This place is delightful---5 hot pools that are right next tobthe Rio Grande River. The pools are drained and cleaned every night...and the rooms are clean and bright. Great value. Wonderful friendly staff.

There ia also an excellent restaurant called Bella Luca near-by---you can walk to it from the Hot Springs.

Also, ask the owners about finding the home-made chocolate place in town..wow!

Riverbend is a hidden gem on the Rio Grande. The unique atmosphere and architecture makes it eye pleasing from the get-go. But then, after check-in, the host shows you the hot springs pools and you are just blown away... it really is RIGHT ON THE RIVER! The view from the pools is amazing. The pools are beautiful and clean. The rooms are standard, but clean, spacious and quiet. I have already recommended Riverbend to friends, and hope to go back again really soon!
