“Don't try the specials”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

We read the excellent reviews of this restaurant, and were expecting good things. The free starters of home-baked bread and wonderful olives sustained this expectation. The meal did not. I think the problem was that we ordered one of the night's "specials" and a lobster dish that the waitress said was just on the menu this season and that they were "very excited about." The special (gnocci and short ribs) was disappointing--good flavor, but tough and chewy beef bits. The lobster and fetichinni was so-so. I'm thinking we should have ordered tried-and-true dishes that gained the restaurant its vey good reputation, like the eggplant parmigianni. We would go back, but would not order something that had not been on the menu for a while and stood the test of time.

“Great food and service”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Beautiful space, great menu and delicious food! The desserts are wonderful too. I had pizza which was great, only I didn't love the soft crust, but the toppings were delicious and very garlicky!

“Great Italian food”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This restaurant is as good, if not better, than the Italian restaurants in Santa Fe (and we have many to choose from). Calamari salad not to be missed. Eggplant parmigiana was very delicious. Spaghetti and meatballs very out of the ordinary with roasted tomato sauce -- as good as it gets! Great wine list, lovely bread. We did not sample the desserts but they were very tempting sounding. Do not miss this place if you visit T or C.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Hard to believe there is an Italian restaurant of this quality in ToC. The food is excellent, great wine and beer menu. Service was great. I try and eat here every time I am in ToC.
