This hotel was an overnight stay on a trip through Taos. It is a faded rose, an older hotel from the 70's. The carpet is a little worn and the concrete sidewalks around the outdoor pool should be resurfaced, but then you aren't paying for the Ritz. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was quiet (Saturday night stay), and the free hot breakfast was a breakfast buffet from 6-9 am. After that your choice is one of 4 pre-set options.
I think the buffet may be a Sunday morning thing. There were two Taos policemen and one Taos Pueblo policeman there for breakfast. That would indicate to me that it must be the best game in town for a Sunday breakfast...
Taos is a spendy town, if you just need a place to spend the night, this one works just fine.
