We liked the warm welcome, elegant room with private patio, home baked cookies, insider recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails, and quiet location 5 minutes walk to the Plaza. Breakfast was creative and tasty and enjoyed around a large kitchen table...great for sharing stories and travel tips with other guests. Wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks Brad and Michael.

My husband and I have just returned from a very impromptu trip to Taos. Having stayed at La Posada de Taos several years ago, we called to see if there was a room available on very short notice. Delighted to discover that there was indeed a room, we arrived the next day and spent four wonderful, unplanned days enjoying the cool summer temps and fabulous area attractions found at this special spot on the planet. We stayed in La Casa, a small detached casita adjacent to the main house courtyard. It was great; a bedroom, bath, and sitting area with skylights and jacuzzi. Ultra comfortable....with the often-mentioned fantastic linens. Another plus is the close proximity to the plaza and other shops and eats. Nice not to need the car for the central area. This stay was even better than our first visit there. Brad and Michael were wonderful hosts, chefs, and conversationalists. Their attention to detail and the Taos tradition of hospitality is truly a delight. More pleasant hosts you won't find anywhere. Having traveled all over the U.S. and many places abroad, we can heartily recommend this B&B for a relaxing time away from the normal grind and routine. You must experience Taos with La Posada de Taos!!

We loved our short stay in Taos.
From the moment we arrived Brad was most welcoming.
Michael's breakfasts were creative and worth a Michelin rating. He went out of his way for my vegetarian request. We stayed in the Beutler room which was spacious.

My husband and I were on a 10 day tour of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico and I surprised him by booking a 3 night stay at La Posada de Taos, along with the hot air balloon excursion. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked a fourth night in the El Solecito room. Every detail of the B&B was amazing...the room was gorgeous, the food scrumptious and the hosts inspiring! Brad and Michael were extremely gracious and truly expressed a passion for what they do. We loved walking to the plaza in the evening and had some amazing meals in the Taos area. The area is convenient to the Taos Pueblo, horseback riding in Angel Fire, hot springs in Ojos and of course the most thrilling hot air balloon ride ever! We took advantage of all these and more! We will never forget our time spent at La Posada de Taos!

This was me and my wife's first stay at La Posada. The grounds are beautiful as well as the interior of the inn. Brad and Michael were not around during our stay, but Roshel and Sandy made us feel at home. We didn't get to partake in Michael's breakfast, but Roshel's cooking was delicious and beautifully presented. The room was big, clean and pleasant and the B&B was walking distance to the plaza and beyond.

Everything about La Posada de Taos was a great experience. Michael's breakfast's preparation would earn a near perfect Zagat score. Brad was an exceptionally friendly host and informative and excited to share information and ideas about Taos history and activities. The location was perfect - quiet and secluded - yet an easy 400 yard walk to the plaza, art galleries, museums, and many restaurant choices. Plenty of space in the courtyard and living room to read a book.

Room Tip: Taos room was small but comfortable. Linens must have been a very high thread count - exceptional. G...

My husband and I are regulars in Taos but had never stayed at La Posada de Taos until this past weekend. We will now hope to become regulars there! It was simply delightful in every way. Upon our arrival on a rainy cool day we were greeted warmly by Brad one of the proprietors, as well as the smell of fresh baked cookies from Michael the Chef and other proprietor. The instant feel of the place was welcoming. The living room gives a true sense of comfort. The art is beautiful, and traditionaly southwestern. They have maintained, with deliberate care, the old feeling of a Spanish Hacienda, with beautiful vigas, tile work and creaky floors that is so wonderfully Taos.

Our room, Lino, was cozy and comfortable with a beautiful private patio, We did a lot of sitting and relaxing especially in the evenings on that patio With another one of Michael's cookies and a warm cup of coffee or tea, that was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

The breakfasts are outstanding and loveingly prepared to fit everyone's tastes and preferences. We could tell that Brad and Michael enjoy what they do and their warmth and hospitality exude from every inch of the Inn.
We so look forward to returning and in the meantime will smile everytime we think of this very special place.

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with any of the six.
