I stayed here in the summer of 2011 with my son in the Dreamcatcher suite, which had 2 separate bedrooms. The room was wonderful, nicely furnished--the garden was beautiful and relaxing. The owners, John and Prudy did everything to make our stay great. They had everything we needed, including flashlights when we decided to go on a moonlight hike. It was a pleasant short walk to town, but also in a quiet area. Great breakfast, too. I would recommend this B & B highly and would absolutely stay there again.

We were visiting this great place in 9.2011, it has been a great place to get away and at the same time be so close to the action, this place has a touch of home and makes you want to meet the people around you and create a sense of community for a day or two, we had great talks at breakfast with tasty food that was well thought to the smallest detail as anything else in this charming place. We carry only good memories and stories from our visit, we found John & Prudy great hosts that were always there for us but in a very genuine and gentle way.
we even invited them to our home in Israel, and that can tell you how good an experience it was for us. Meirav & Israel Ben Moshe. Har Gilo Israel

This is one of the best B & Bs were ever stayed at. Everything about it is excellent. The owners, John and Prudy, go out of their way to make your stay a great experience. They are both warm, friendly and helpful. There are 7 rooms around a lovely garden area, each with its own entrance. The rooms seem to have everything you would want--comfortable queen size bed, with high end sheets and blankets, a fireplace with logs, comfortable chair, writing table, TV, fridge, coffeemaker, wifi, radiant heat on the floor, and robes to wear in the room.

There is also a large community room that has coffee/tea, ice, cookies at any time. It is a cozy place to read papers, books, etc. The breakfast was superb--the day we stayed, John served hot oatmeal brule, and a choice of vegeterian quiche or fruit platter--both delicious.

This well run, unique place is outside of the hustle and bustle and traffic of Taos, a short distance from the center, but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. They send you directions, but we found it easier to put the address into our GPS to get us to the Dreamcatcher. We hope to return sometime in the future.

This was our second stay at Dreamcatcher. The first was in September, 2009 not long after the current innkeepers, John and Prudy Abeln, assumed ownership. We love this B & B, out of the way, yet within walking distance of shops & restaurants. The rooms are comfortable & if we want a snack we feel free to go to the dining room for fresh cookies, tea or coffee. John and Prudy go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts are a treat, with an appetizer and a sumptuous entree, plus a pretty side of fresh fruit. The coffee is delicious & plentiful. There are binders with lots of information about area activities and local restaurants plus John and Prudy will make helpful suggestions if you are looking for a particular kind of cuisine. You will not be disappointed if you make Dreamcatcher your home away from home in Taos.

Our stay at the Dreamcatcher was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful as well as the gardens. John and Prudy are excellent hosts and care about the comfort of their guests.
The dining room is warm and inviting and John takes pride in the planning and preparation
of his delicious breakfast. It is an easy drive to Antonito, Colorado if you plan on taking
the Cumbres & Toltec Vintage Rail.

Love the quiet courtyard. It was a wonderful and cool escape from the Oklahoma heat. The food was excellent. John and Prudy were great host.

We recently stayed and enjoyed our experience at the Dreamcatcher B&B. The attention to the guests and details was superior as well as the great breakfast that John and Prudy served. The rooms were very inviting and comfortable as well as the property. They were very helpful with all of our site seeing and questions.
