I'm on the road 250+ nights per year and believe me, hotels get old...people slam doors at all hours of the day and night and, other than breakfast, most meals have to be eaten at a restaurant. So, I was extremely pleased to have found Burch Street Casitas while on assignment near Taos recently. What a great place! Jim even drove me to work one morning when a surprise snowstorm dropped limbs and wires across the driveway - now that's going above and beyond! It was such a pleasure to have a quiet, roomy home away from home, complete with laundry and full kitchen! I highly recommend the casitas if you are going to be visiting the Taos area! You won't be disappointed.

This is the first lodging review I've ever written, but our stay with Nancy and Jim at the Burch St. Casitas has been such an outstanding experience, I must comment! We are already planning our vacation next year and we'll definitely be returning here. The accomodations were sparkling clean, comfortable and welcoming. We especially appreciated the washer/dryer unit in the casita as we had already been hiking for a week when we arrived. We also enjoyed being so close to town, but at the same time having a private and quiet retreat for ourselves. Our hosts struck the perfect balance between being warm and available while respecting our privacy. Thank you Nancy and Jim for making our first visit to Taos such a delight!

Quiet , well maintained property. Great location and easy stroll to the heart of historic Taos, all of the shopping and most restaurants. Clean, comfortable and simple. Go to Cid's market and pick up some fresh food, grab a bottle of wine and sit out back at Burch Street Casitas, you won't be disappointed!

Stayed at Burch Street Casitas for 2 nights while visiting Taos. This is just 2 blocks from the historic plaza and on a quiet street---perfect for us small towners. The casita was wonderful---clean, comfortable, roomy, full kitchen, fireplace and quiet. Nancy and Jim are great owners and willing to share their knowledge of the area. We walked to town each day for shopping, eating, and touring the galleries. Unfortunately Taos Pueblo was closed so we were unable to enjoy this. At Nancy's suggestion we did drive to Angel Fire to visit the Vietnam Veteran Memorial, which was well worth the drive. The road is very scenic and the memorial very poignant and heartwarming. I definitely want to come back and will arrange my trip so I can stay at the casita. Love Taos---so warm and accepting. Eat at Michael's Kitchen and Antonio's.

Very comfortable, well designed self-catering accommodation. The casitas are spacious, with everything you need to feel at home. They're centrally located, you can easily leave the car at the casita and walk into town.

I just returned from a deployment and the Burch Street Casitas were the perfect way to relax. My wife and I drove in from ABQ and spent 3 days off road driving in Red River and looking through the shops in Taos. The casita was a short walk from the plaza and the room was very comfortable. The cleanliness was supurb and the kitchen had all the amenaties we needed. For the price it was an absolute deal that we will take advantage of again.

Each casita is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and includes a full kitchen. The location is quiet and charming and within walking distance of everything. And if you love privacy, this is the place to be!
