“Great food and good service”
Reviewed July 28, 2009

A great spot for lunch. At is small but they have indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed the green chili vegetable soup and especially the wheat and gluten free food. The service was good and went so far as to find me the source for their rice tortillas.

“Delicious food and friendly service”
Reviewed June 17, 2009

We had a delicious, relaxed lunch at the Rellenos Cafe in June 2009. We arrived about 1:30pm and had our choice of outside (it was too chilly that day) or inside, and we were seated right away.

The waiter who seated us was warm and gracious. Our waitress was a little dingy, but very nice and fixed any minor mistakes she made. We didn't feel like we were treated like tourists (which we obviously were).

I had a lamb burrito...yum! My husband had enchiladas adobadas, which were very good. My daughter had a chicken quesadilla, which was tasty but very small. I had an "agave wine margarita", which was incredibly smooth and tasty.

The prices seemed not too steep: two drinks, three meals and tip was about $50.

“great spot”
Reviewed January 22, 2009

From the outside you would be hesitant to walk in, but I'm so glad we did. After a Spa Day at El Monte Sagrado (also excellent) had lunch at this very LITTLE cafe. Maybe 7 small tables? but very quaint, great Margaritas, friendly service and delicious food. As you would expect, the Rellenos were superb.

“Fresh, Delicous New Mexican Dining”
Reviewed October 31, 2008

When Antonio closed his restaurant, we almost declared a year of mourning.

But he's back, just south of the Plaza on the main drag--and he's better than ever. He is creating some of the freshest, tastiest New Mexican cuisine in the area.

The restaurant itself is fun because it is a maze of tiny rooms. We've eaten outside on the patio, and it's wonderful during the warmer months.

Get the fish tacos if they are on the menu. Everything is fresh and lots of organic options. The beverage list is fun, too, with some upscale, not-usually-found-in-Taos offerings.

It's not too tough on the wallet, either.
