Try the Chile Rellano en Nogada! Fantastic blend of sweet and savory-just delish!
Service was good and the margarita hit the spot!

“An unforgettable taste of Mexico: Antonio's”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

This is the 4th year we have come to Antonio's - it is always the highlight of our trip to Taos. The owner/chef and his waitstaff make us feel right at home - back in Mexico where I used to live. Open the menu and you will see dishes rarely prepared outside of Mexico - different mole sauces, huitlacoche enchiladas, chile en nogada, sopa Azteca... The prices are very reasonable for this labor intensive fare. Antonio's red chile sauce has won awards and rightfully so. The desserts are rich and flavorful - tres leches cake, almond flan, even his sopaipillas are above the rest. The patio is beautiful with a fountain as its center. The interior rooms are cozy. Antonio and his wife Sarah are people who truly appreciate their guests. Antonio is from Veracruz, one of the most developed culinary areas of Mexico, and it shows. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

“My favorite place to eat”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We come to Taos every year and I could eat here every day we are in Taos. The food is delicious. Order the guacamole and their signature dish is the Chile relliano nogada. It is wonderful. The waiters are a little slow.

“Great food”
Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I had lunch at Antonio's the other day and the meal was superb. Although it was only the soup (green chili stew) and salad (mixed greens, strawberries, pumpkin seeds and balsamic vinergrette) it was prepared beautifully and tasted fantastic. The service was excellent and prompt. Before the meal was ended, the chef (Antonio) had come by the table to check on our meal. One could not have asked for a better experience.

“Most original Mexican food”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

We had dinner here based on reviews we read on trip advisor, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted and seated right away. Food was excellent, and portions were large. Flavors were great. 1 soup, 2 entrees, 2 margaritas, and 2 desserts - with tax was just under $60.00
