Description: An Eclectic Taste Of Mexico. Chef Antonio covers all the bases, deliciously. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and made to order and the majority of the menu can be prepared gluten free. Because of the flavorful, full-bodied sauces, you will be pleasantly full at the end of your meal accompanied with a fun Margarita like a Jalapeno, Watermelon Margarita. Nothing else like Antonio's Restaurant in beautiful Taos, New Mexico.

I got a Restaurant.com certificate to this restaurant prior to leaving for Taos. There were very few restaurants in Taos listed so I had to wonder how Antonio's would be. It was excellent. Some of the best Mexican food I have had. Prices were great. The service was excellent.

What a great southwestern dinner! The menu gave us many choices and we opted for the signature dish- Chile Relleno en Nogada. To our delight, it topped our expectations. The poblano pepper was stuffed with beef, pear, apple, onion, and spices with a walnut, brandy cream sauce, and sides of beans and rice. The unusual flavors blended very well. The serving was more than we could eat. The Flan for dessert was wonderful. We had the best dinner of the whole week.

Our group of 4 ate at Antonio's this past weekend. The service was prompt and informed as to components and preparation of dishes. The food selection was wonderful, with plenty of seafood choices. It was served hot and flavorful, with just the right amount of zip. The chipoltle chocolate cake was terrific as well. We've been there several times already and look forward to dining on the patio in warmer weather.

After spending a week skiing and shopping, we chose Antonio's to have our final meal before returning to Tennessee. As it happen, Antonio himself took our order and described several of his entrees in detail. After listening to Antonio, we were sold on his "signature" dish. The four of us (myself, my wife, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law) chose the same dish from the menu: Chile Relleno en Nogada......roasted poblano pepper stuffed with ground beef, pear, apple, raisins, onion, tomato and spices, smothered with walnut, brandy cream sauce. We were not disappointed. Antonio visited our table several times during the meal and treated us like family. The food was wonderful and help cap off a very memorable week at Taos. I would highly recommend Antonio's A Taste of Mexico.
