The lady at tht front desk was very informative about the family and history of Taos. We had a lovely discussion with her. The hacienda is interesting. We recommend it.

We enjoyed touring this old Hacienda. Had never experienced old Mexican living before.

We loved our trip to the Martinez Hacienda. Do not miss the chance to see one of the most important pieces of history restored to take you back to 1800 when the Martinez family lived in Taos. One wanders the old hacienda and can open every door to peek into a time gone by. Their store is full of interesting and tempting local hispanic cookbooks and souvineers.

nothing "special' but a solid example of a local dwelling from 1800's. $8 charge is over the top in my opinion, but Thursday is good as local artists work and show their wares. A good injection of real history vs drivel they teach kids in schools.
