Great old structure and outdoor area.
Obviously a family run establishment.
Not happy with "East Indian" only on Mondays.

We stopped here for dinner, our waiter was excellent and very pleasant. However, most of the food contained way too much pepper. While the Caprese Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes was excellent, the Roasted Pumpkin Soup with corn was way too peppery, and the corn overwhelmed the pumpkin flavor. Even the biscuit had pepper in it. Has possibilities, but they need to tone down the pepper.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit this eclectic little restaurant located in a small house off the main road through Taos. We had tire trouble and were delayed getting there, so we had to change our reservations several times, but the lady we tlked to was very gracious and said there would be no problem. We arrive there and were given a short but varied menu. The lady serving us then proceeded to tell us about all of the "specials" of the evening, every one of which sounded fabulous. We had an appetizer of mushrooms in garlic sauce to start, along with fresh baked bread and fresh homemade mushroom soup, which was fantastic. We then had various entrees (there were four of us), all of which were fabulous and shared the bread pudding for dessert. The service was impeccable, the food fantastic, the ambience perfect. We will definitely be back again.
