“A good breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

We ate breakfast here on a recent visit to Taos. We were familiar with the cafe from lunches on other trips, but this was the first time for us to try breakfast. It was very good, as was the service. This is a nice cafe in a pleasant location in Taos. It is probably a better choice for adults than for people travelling with children.

“Nice patio for lunch”

Hearty portions but not heavy; enjoyed teh quiche and Caprese salad. Great Bent St. location for people watching and nice shops nearby.

“Agree with other reviewers...good but not great.....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

My wife and I had Sunday brunch here because of the nice patio on a lovely late morning in Taos.

The patio is a wonderful spot, lots of trees, flagstones, flowers, and beside a pretty alley with a number of interesting stores.

I had the vegetable soup, which was very flavorful. My wife had the creamy tomato and basil soup, which she also thought was good. We both had the California chicken salad.....lettuce, nice thick sliced roasted chicken, almonds, cranberries, etc. I liked it more than my wife did, but it was just a nice salad, nothing more. The "breakfasty' looking brunch entrees looked excellent....eggs benedict, french toast, breakfast tortillas. Inside seating is nothing special. I might go back for breakfast, but that would be all.

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

We recently had lunch here, opting to sit inside as it was still rather cool. Everything about the place - food, service, ambiance, was just fair. We tried salads, soups, sandwiches which were all really basic. Nothing seemed fresh, inventive, or well-prepared. It's a great location, however I don't think we would go back. Just nothing special. The prices are pretty good for the neighborhood however.

“Nice to seat, ok to eat!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

Try to get a table outside. It ist very nice to seat there. You can overlook the sourrings. Inside-Restaurant is a little bit rough. The menue offers a great choice of food, soup, salad, sandwiches and „bigger things“ if you are hungry. Whe had no long waiting-time, the young service-crew was friendly, the quality of the food a little bit better than average, and not expensive. But roundabout - outside, service, food, price - four points must be.
