My wife and I recently enjoyed two meals at Ricky's whilst on holiday in Taos. Ricky's is an unassuming small restaurant on the side of the highway heading south, not far from the Plaza area.
Nothing fancy here, just great freshly prepared food. My breakfast pancakes were the best I tasted on our three week trip, with good attentive service.
We returned for a late afternoon meal, and the welcome we received was friendly, and the enshiladas I had were just superb.
Don't go to Ricky's if you in a hurry, because as one of the many locals who dine here explained, Ricky's food is prepared to order, and well worth the wait.
