Description: Lambert's of Taos is a family-owned full service, upscale establishment serving Contemporary American cuisine with northern New Mexican influences in an elegant but relaxed setting. We are one of the few establishments in town that serves cocktails in addition to beer and wine. Upstairs we have the Treehouse Bar and Lounge for those not in the mood for linen tablecloths and looking for a cool, classy, and eclectic hangout with well-versed bartenders and inviting prices. During our Happy Hour (2:30 - 6:00), everything on our Happy Hour menu is $6.

This was our first visit in the old apple tree restaurant location. This move has added a nice dimension, outdoor dining, to a restaurant already providing a wonderful meal. Our server, tony, was a crackerjack, attentive, charming and responsive. The food was really good and done to perfection. There was nothing negative to say and we'll be back soon.

Went for dinner but decided to have salads and starters instead of mains for a less expensive meal. Smart decision. Salads were very good and all of our appetizers were tasty and filling. Best of all, we saved room for dessert. Special that night was freshly made peach ice cream in a lace cookie bowl. Ate outside and had the best time. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back.

I have been eating at Lamberts for years, but recently they moved into an historic building on
Bent Street and everything about the restaurant got better. The menu, the service, the food, the ambiance and overall Taos experience..
We had a great meal yesterday for lunch in the courtyard, under the apple tree, but I am sure
a winter meal will be great too.
Hats off to you Lambert's an old experienced restaurnt has stepped up to the plate..

We dined at Lambert's on a Sunday night. We chose the patio since the weather was beautiful and it was a wise choice. The service was quite good; our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine and we had an attentive back waiter to look after our needs.

The food was well prepared and arrived at the relaxed pace we requested. The recommendations of our waiter were spot on and everything came together for an excellent dining experience. We will return on our next trip to Taos!

This place is probably great for meat eaters, but their vegetarian options are terrible. The waiter recommended a mushroom appetizer, which was bland (and had to be sent back for HIGH salt content the first time). For a high end restaurant, they need a chef with more imagination.
