Description: Lambert's of Taos is a family-owned and operated full service, upscale establishment serving Contemporary American cuisine with northern New Mexican influences in an elegant but relaxed setting. We are one of the few establishments in town that serves cocktails in addition to beer and wine. Upstairs we have the Treehouse Bar and Lounge for those not in the mood for linen tablecloths and looking for a cool, classy, and eclectic hangout with well-versed bartenders and inviting prices. During our Happy Hour (2:30 - 6:00), everything on our Happy Hour menu is $6.

We were so happy to see Lambert's move into the old Apple Tree. They are now open for lunch, and they have many of the old Apple Tree menu items (mango enchiladas anyone?). The food was good, service was great, and the new-old digs are cozy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable, with generous portions. Best wishes Lambert's!!!

It's been a while since we posted a review of this Taos fine dining establishment, but since they've moved into new digs in the heart of the Historic District, we had to let everyone know that Lambert's is even more fantastic than ever in the old Apple Tree location. Professional, elegant yet casual, firing on all cylinders and always comfortable in all that they do. That's Lambert's. We travel extensively and we know good food. Even better, with Chefs in the family, we know great food and Lambert's of Taos delivers great food every time.

What we really like about the new location is that the restaurant seems to have always been there. Seamless, flawless transition from the old location into the new made us feel like we were visiting old friends in the place they had always been. Probably more than anything, we can't wait until the summer season and the new outdoor dining area is open.

I've been to Lambert's many times and thought I would give them a try at their new location. Don't know exactly what happened, but they left a lot behind them in the move. Ambience in their new location is non existant. Noisy, crowded and cold. Service was a step behind the entire evening . . . . and they weren't that busy. And the food was a big disappointment. Poorly dressed Caesar Salad, tough pork osso bucco, and dry and flavorless duck. Another good restaurant bites the dust.

My daughter and I went for a light something before dinner. We had a
glass of wine. I didn't know about the wine I ordered but the bartender
was so very helpful. We also had soup. I had a cheese soup which was
wonderful. I would go there again.
