“Horrible Service”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

Went in at 6:30 PM left at 9:00pm. Bad service. Asked for forks and napkins 3 times. Bill tabulated wrong. Charged table for whole pizza instead of slice. Food took very long time to be served. Will not go back.

“Wonderful staff, great atmosphere and food, gluten free pizza just ok”
Reviewed February 5, 2014 via mobile

This place is super cute and quirky. We had no issues parking but the lot is fairly small. The inside of the restaurant is made up of a bunch of random rooms with seating in all of them. We ended up getting our order to go (we were traveling with our dog) but i loved the interior.

This was actually my first attempt at pizza in a couple years. I can't have gluten so pizza is always a challenge (even with gluten free crusts offered at a lot of places, there is usually cross-contamination issues) but the staff at Taos Pizza Out Back were wonderful and accommodating, ensuring separate preparation surfaces and cooking my pizza in a fresh pan and not on the pizza stone. As much as I appreciated the effort, the crust ended up not being cooked in the middle of the pie and wasn't edible. I did enjoy all of the toppings (I got the Greek) and outer rim of the crust, though! I would definitely give them another shot and just ask the pizza be well done next time.

My husbad got a slice of the Ranchero pizza on their regular crust and really enjoyed it. The slices are HUGE and definitely enough for one person if you're ordering other goodies. We also had a greek salad and loved it, the house made dressing was particularly amazing! The hubby also got a slice of cheesecake - he's a cheesecake
connoisseur of sorts and LOVED this one.

“Salads at a pizza restaurant?”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

This place is a find for those who like on the spot pizza from a non-franchised restaurant. We have visited this restaurant annually for the past three or four years and the quality has always been good, but the waits can be long on weekends. The pizzas are delicious and the portions are generous, but we only had pizza, until this year -- and the Caesar salad and house salad with pesto dressing were both great -- so good, we stopped for salads only later in the week.

“Very good, very busy”
Reviewed January 27, 2014

This was the first time we had eaten at the restaurant having ordered out pizza previously. It was a very busy Friday night. Parking lot was full but we had walked. We were told a half hour wait but our party had the luck of being the correct size for the next available table and we were seated within 5 minutes. The service was a tad slow but friendly and our pizza and pasta were very good. Beer selection was good. We recommend the place with the caveat that you will probably have to wait.

“Busy, busy, busy”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

You know you're at the right place when you can't find a parking spot. The food was wonderful. Something to write home about: we had wings--and not just your average buffalo wing you can get at any pizza joint--these were large pieces of chicken with lots of meat. We had a "Shelly" salad (may have the wrong name here), and it was perfect. It had lettuce, cheese, walnuts--and other goodies topped with its own dressing. The pizza was good--don't think I like the idea of artichokes and walnuts on a pizza--it sounded like a good idea, but it wasn't my favorite. Loved the crust and the sesame seeds.
