busy Saturday night of MLK weekend - town was moderately busy, Outback was full when we arrived but dying down around 9pm. First time visit - we stumbled on the place looking for pizza.
decor - uniquely Taos, small with lots of mementos from Taos. Our table for two was wedged into corner, nothing special to be sure. Wait staff was in jeans and t-shirts. Best was to come.
food - excellent. salad, pasta and pizza. The salad was fresh with homemade dressing. A green leaf mixture of lettuce with tomato brussel sprouts. Not cheap at $5 but excellent. Pizza was a build your own cheese, mushroom and sausage. The crust was excellent - very crunchy on the bottom with a hand breaded crust.
service - better than other reviewers. We had three people serving us. One person seated us, one person kept up with drinks and the third managed food. All stopped multiple times throughout the meal to make sure we had everything needed.
