Beautiful view as you walk across the bridge - also people set up with tables selling handmade items.

I didn't expect the gorge to be so large. Wished we had better weather to capture the true beauty of the place.

The poor man's Grand Canyon.

If you're afraid of heights, well I'm not sure why you're reading about the Rio Grand Gorge Bridge. It's scary. High. If you're into that, then it's amazing. Straight up amazing.

I'm afraid of heights, so it was a feat to walk to nearly the center of the bridge and to feel the shaking of the bridge as cars passed by. It's a sight to see and I am glad I did. It is such a short drive from Taos Pueblo it shouldn't be missed. It was interesting to see white rosary beads tied onto the bridge. Looking down 650 feet into the gorge was so far down, enormous and beautiful.
