“Interesting and awe-inspiring stop”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

This bridge, although not an engineering marvel, is inspiring due to it's height over the gorge alone. Don't forget to view from the observation point SW of the bridge. Walking out on the bridge to the lookouts is not for the faint of hear as this bridge "moves" with traffic.

Not far from town this was a great little trip. Check out the earth ships nearby. These are homes made from recycled materials

“High drama bridge”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

Driving out there everything is flat for miles around as far s you can see. You think it must be very far away because everything is plain flat desert. Then suddently IT appears! There is this enormous split in the earth, a huge canyon opens up and what an amazing contrast to the endless flat dessert. Well worth the trip. Well maintained rest area, lovely trees and birds. Bridge is great photo opportunity!
