Some great views down in the gorge, though whenever a large truck passes over the bridge you can feel it. Don't look down if you have vertigo. Definitely worth the drive out to it though.

Very suprising and beautiful view after short drive from Taos on flat mesa. How did the Spanish get over the place?

The gorge bridge isn't too far out of the town of Taos, and is a nice place to visit from time to time.

As we left Taos, we were pleasantly surprised - and when i say surprised, I mean shocked and awed - to discover that we came down out of the mountains into a spectacular plain, with mountains in the distance, and dead ahead of us, a colossal gorge, one of the most famous in the world. We had to stop and take pictures.
