“Needs some assistance”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

I hate reviewing a place negatively but unfortunately Dara Thai needs some help. The appetizer rolls were great but the cook was way too heavy with the fish sauce on the Pad Thai. We waited for some time for our meal which isn't unexpected when we order Thai but then to have it taste so strong of the fish sauce was really disappointing. It was also bothersome that a lot of the items in the menu had been crossed out with a marker. Please spend a couple bucks and generate a clean menu with the items that still are being served.

“Great Food!”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We come to Taos often and have explored just about every restuarant there is and finally came to this one just a few monthes ago. We fell in love with it instantly. The atmosphere is the only downside. It's a small little spot that seats about 30 people and could use some touch ups. But the food is just amazing! Finally, some real Thai food in the states. The Thai Fried Rice is extremely good and spicy. We've found our little haven for the next multiple trips to Taos!

“Tasty!”
Reviewed July 16, 2014 via mobile

We shared the sampler- the chicken satay was delicious.

My husband had the pad thai, and I had the green curry. Both were delicious and filling.

If you are sensitive to spicy hot, specify! I asked for medium, and it was challenging, but so good.
